Overview
Proposed federal legislation to improve obstetric care in rural areas by (1) requiring improvements to Health and Human Services rural maternity and obstetric care data, (2) establishing grant programs to support the development of rural obstetric networks focused on improving birth outcomes and reducing maternal mortality and support telehealth networks and resource centers, and (3) establishing rural maternal and obstetric care training demonstrations.
